How would you think Grovyle lived the rest of his life on the future?

i kinda like to think he’d go looking for signs of your team’s explorations like. records of your accomplishments, lil messages you left for him in the dungeons you’d both see, or maybe any of the recruited team members.

in my current post game i’m an eevee and my partner is a vulpix and i just. i like to think about celebi sending him back Just Far enough to find my partner as like. an old ninetales having been entrusted to guard one of the time gears, y’know? kind of like ninetales in the first games. there’s something to be said about alternate dimensions, but. i like to think abt grovyle meeting old team members— one of my favorite recruits is this dratini and i just. imagine him hearing about this dragonite with a very familiar bow
