i hate how plastic surgery is somewhat praised, like yeah sure everyone has the right to make the alterations to their body. but like, you really have to sit down at some point and question why so many people feel so inadequate in their own natural body that they have to chisel away and modify their features. 

the beauty industry is so toxic and has convinced thousands of people that they are not good enough until they fit into a eurocentric conceived perception of ‘beauty’ when in actuality physical characteristics should not be moulded into labels of ‘pretty’ or ‘ugly’
