im a fulltime employee on this stupid campus and i pay $22 a month for a parking pass and its still hard to get spots but i wont pay the $50 a month for a reserved pass because i work on the weekends when it is free too so I would be paying $50 a month just to have a better chance getting a spot 3x a week.
Agreed. I’m a student nurse. I have to pay 30 dollars (a reduced fee for low income students) to park on campus and it took nearly an hour for me to find parking this week. And because of my program requirements, I am also required to pay 110 dollars to park at my clinical location for 20 days and 5 bucks a day at my second location for nearly 10 days…my parking fees for the semester are over 200 bucks for 17 weeks.. on top of my tuition, books/supplies, etc….
Did I mention that on Wednesday I cannot even use my 110 dollar parking pass bc lots fill at 0630 and I dont get to the facility until nearly noon..which requires students to spend 6 dollars every Wednesday.
its awful, i commute 20min from a nearby town so I have no choice but to drive either 😦
they need to reimburse us for this somehow
