Oedipus: (Who literally gouged his own eyes out and killed himself when he found out he accidentally had sex with his mother) I’m sorry it’s the WHAT complex

Hmm. Freud was a man. If all men secretly want to have sex with their own mother, Freud must have wanted to have sex with his own mother.

Let’s just rename it the Freud complex and leave poor, long-suffering Oedipus out of this mess.
