This implies that he doesn’t place heavy emphasis on perfect service from his private kitchen staff, meaning that they tend to make whatever sounds pleasing. A lot of royal chefs would have been killed if this upset their ruler enough. This also implies that he is a just monarch to the rest of his people, though we can’t know for sure.
Takes the news of Koridai being under attack by Ganon with a grim face, pausing thoughtfully to consider the best strategies to protect his allies before having the wisdom to ask how his nation can help. This implies a great military leader. Sun-Tzu once said ”Every battle is won or lost before it’s ever fought.”, and The King of Hyrule’s careful moment of planning proves he knows this.
Is seen with a VERY full goblet in multiple scenes. The man is obviously quite free with his wine, and maybe even freer with his mirth and fortune.

Other things about Harkinian that we shouldn’t forget:
-He treats Link as a son, calling him “my boy” and including him in royal conversations. Harkinian doesn’t have to be so kindly to a peasent, but he respects Link’s courage.
-Has a sense of humor, even though Ganon had him and Link imprisioned, The King was able to laugh it off and celebrate with his daughter just moments after her victory.
